Registering as a Crew Member is a great way to make a difference and use your expertise to help others. When you serve as a Crew Member on The Ride, you will put yourself through an endurance test, but you will be rewarded in ways that you’ve never imagined.

When registering as a Crew Member, it is important to remember that the positions can be strenuous and physically demanding. For the success and safety of our event and its participants, it is crucial that you are comfortable with this. As a Crew Member, you'll attend the entire event in a service capacity, but you will not participate in The Ride itself.

Our Support

The Crew will receive the same support and fundraising advice as our Riders. Crew Members should always feel free to call our Ride Guides at for fundraising advice and pep talks. As a Crew Member, you are not required to fundraise, but you are strongly encouraged to raise a minimum of $500 so that more money can be invested into cancer research.

Crew Members are the foundation of The Ride, so we want to make sure they have all the support they need.

Please note: You must be at least 16 years old to be a Crew Member.

Volunteers contribute their time, expertise, and ideas to bring The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer^® to fruition. Volunteers help at outreach events and fundraisers, and support at Training Rides. Thousands of Volunteers help us to produce the powerful Opening and at the Finish Line. Volunteering is a great way to make a difference and use any biking expertise you have to make your Ride experience even more rewarding.

Getting involved is a great way to stay connected to The Ride all year long. Riders and Crew Members can lead Training Rides, lend their support at Orientations, and speak at fundraising parties and outreach events. Riders and Crew Members won’t be available to volunteer at the Opening Ceremony or Finish Line though, as these ceremonies are to celebrate your accomplishment.
