Riding for Hope and Gratitude!

RIDING AGAIN FOR HOPE AND GRATITUDE
The 2011 Ride to Conquer Cancer was one of the highlights of my life to date. I was humbled by the incredible generosity of so many friends and family and I learned so much about the human spirit and how people really step up to the plate. In the end, I was able to raise over $42,000.
I was also asked to be the spokesperson for the opening ceremonies, speaking on behalf of the survivors, those suffering and the wonderful people doing great work at the Jewish General Hospital. It was quite the experience to speak in front of over 3000 people, but I would not have changed a thing - it was an absolute honour to be asked to represent this wonderful event.
I am now in my third year of remission, and continue to benefit from the advances of the research being done in the areas of lymphoma and other blood diseases. Without the money being raised from events such as this one, we would not be making the advances we are. I am truly grateful for the research as it has given me my life back, and hopefully the lives of everyone else suffering from this insidious disease.
I have committed again to ride in the 2012 edition, and ask that you consider making a donation to help continue the important work being done to find a cure. Thank you so much in advance for your consideration. I truly believe in this wonderful event and how it is empowering the dedicated doctors and researchers to advance their work.
This year, I have also formed a team, HOPE and GRATITUDE 2012, and encourage you to join us on this epic weekend. Please consult my team page for all the information you may need.
Thanks, hope, and gratitude,
Rob Callard
